Summer is a wonderful time of year for us at R. Gregory Photography. We get the pleasure of capturing the joy and fun so many families and groups experience while they visit the gorgeous beaches we have here in Virginia Beach, and for that we are so grateful! As always, our visiting families made 2011 a fun and beautiful year at Sandbridge Beach, so thank you!

Williams Family

This was a fun military family with the husband deploying for one year a week after this was taken. Wonderful keepsake video and finished photographs to help them feel together while they are apart.

I had the opportunity to take this family portrait on the beach last summer.  The parents let me know about this image they had had in their minds for years and this was finally the chance to pull it off.  I enjoyed co-creating this arrangement with the family.  I know it meant a lot to them.  I love working in this manner.

Okay it was a little windy that day.  But this faily loved their portrait taken in Sandbridge on the beach.  I think people feel a lot more relaxed when they have photographs taken on the beach.  It feeeeels like you’re on vacation whether you are or not!
